3 Day – Siemens S7-1200/ 1500 TIA Maintenance & Fault Finding Course
Intended Audience:
This course is for Technicians and Engineers who have little or no Siemens 7 – 1200 / 1500 PLC programming or application experience, who are responsible for installing, maintaining and fault finding on industrial automation plant systems which uses Siemens 7 – 1200 / 1500 PLCs.
Course Content Summary:
This course introduces the Siemens S7 TIA programming portal. A system overview of the Siemens 7 – 1200 / 1500 PLC includes hardware and software components plus system configuration issues. The course concentrates on the Siemens 7 – 1200 / 1500 hardware and troubleshooting. TIA software diagnostic tools and programming instructions are introduced in the course to guide the delegate through the management of a realistic application.

- TIA Portal V13, V14, or V15, TIA Portal Programming Software
- Siemens 7 – 1200 PLC
Course Objectives:
The objective of our training to give delegates the skills they need to maintain, troubleshoot and diagnose faults in your automation plant system. The course format is a combination of instruction and hands-on exercises, focusing heavily on examples from delegates. Demonstration exercises are included and allow delegates to practice tasks such as testing, debugging and using diagnostic tools.
Programming theory is kept to a minimum, the course is hands on with great emphasis on the practical aspects of Programmable Logic Controller applications. The course is based around Siemens 7 – 1200 PLC. We run the course using TIA Portal V13, V14, or V15, TIA Portal Programming Software.
